The posters will begin shipping November 17, 2008.

2008 National Voting Equipment Report
Tuesday, November 11, 2008 For the first time in the nation’s history, fewer jurisdictions and less registered voters will be using electronic voting equipment than in the previous election. After nearly three decades of
consistent growth in their use with each election, nearly 10 million fewer registered voters will
be using electronic voting equipment in the 2008 general election compared to just two years
ago. Every county that has changed voting systems since 2006 has moved to optical scan
equipment.

2007 Reapportionment Study
Tuesday, November 11, 2008 New Census Bureau population estimates released today continue the changes in congressional representation first documented with last year’s population release. However, trends contained in the new data point towards new twists in population growth over the next three years and lead to a variety of potential scenarios by the time apportionment happens in 2010.
New District Boundary Files Available for Texas and Georgia
Tuesday, January 16, 2007New congressional district boundary files are now available for the states of Texas and Georgia. The files contain boundaries for congressional districts that were redrawn after the 2004 elections and were first used at the November 2006 general election. New legislative district boundary files are also available for the state of Georgia.
